MY STORY
Jordyn Mayes is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of WAFFLE . Magazine, a platform she launched in 2024 to highlight untold stories and celebrate creative individuals, businesses, and organizations. A Louisville, Kentucky native, Jordyn's passion for storytelling and public speaking has guided her journey from high school MCing events to earning a degree in communications from the University of Louisville. After working with WABE radio in Atlanta, she decided to take matters into her own hands and build her own platform. In addition to leading WAFFLE ., Jordyn is a skilled photographer and owner of Jordyn Carlisse Photography, where she helps clients capture meaningful moments. Driven by her desire to create a space where voices often overlooked are heard, Jordyn continues to grow her brand, focusing on positivity, inspiration, and celebrating the nuances of modern life.
